Line and Lure was published from 1991 to 2022 as the official publication of the Continental Whippet Alliance. In 2023 Line and Lure ceased as a print-formatted electronically distributed magazine, and all the content will be published on the website going forward, including advertising! You can still subscribe to the Line and Lure mailing list to receive email notifications when new content is published on the website.
Advertising Themes
The following advertising themes roughly correspond to the themes used for Line and Lure, and are still in effect. However, general advertising is always welcome even if it doesn't fit the theme.
- Dec-Jan: Year-End Standings, featuring FREE ADs for Top Ten and FREE PHOTOS for Honorable Mention (#11-20)
- Feb-Mar: Upcoming Stars
- Apr-Jun: Memorials dedicated to those friends, human and canine, that we've lost
- Jul-Aug: Versatility, featuring our dogs' achievements in conformation, agility, obedience, coursing, tracking, therapy, etc.
- Sep-Nov: National brags
